What does the Advisory Academy cost?
The Academy is by application, and the investment is discussed openly on your Advisory Session – not buried in a page or quoted before we understand your business. The right level depends on where you actually are, and we’d rather talk it through with your numbers in front of us. You’ll know exactly what it costs, and what it covers, before you decide anything.
What’s the time commitment?
Monthly group coaching with Ben and the advisory team, quarterly 1:1 check-ins, and a structured curriculum across the twelve months – plus the work you do on your own business between sessions, which is where most of the change actually happens. It’s paced, not crammed.
Is it group coaching, or 1:1?
Both, depending on the level. The Academy is built on monthly group coaching – you learn alongside other ambitious owners, which is part of the value – with quarterly 1:1 check-ins on your specific business. For more direct one-to-one time, that’s what V.O.P. and 1:1 with Ben are for.
Do I need my accounting sorted first?
No. You don’t need to be an Obsessed Accounting client to join the Academy – the two are separate. Advisory does work best when the numbers underneath it are reliable, which is why qualified accountants sit alongside the team – but sorting your accounting first is not a condition of starting.
I’ve only got an idea – is it too early?
No. The Academy starts at the beginning – turning a skill or an idea into something people will pay for, building the brand, finding the first clients. You don’t need a running business to join; you need to be serious about building one.
What if it’s not the right fit for me?
We’d rather tell you that on the Advisory Session than take you onto something that won’t work. The session is a genuine diagnostic, not a sales call – “this isn’t right for you yet” is a real outcome. If the Academy is the wrong move, we’ll say so, and be specific about why.
