You’re booked in with Takis.

A relaxed 60-minute conversation with our producer, so your story is properly understood before we record. There’s nothing to prepare – it’s simply a chance to get to know you.

From here to recording day.

Three short steps between here and the recording. Only the first asks anything of you – and even that’s just a conversation.

01

Your research call

Your calendar invite and Zoom link are already on their way. The call itself is a relaxed hour with Takis – no slides, no homework, no trick questions. He’s simply there to understand your story properly: where you’ve come from, what you’ve built, and the parts that don’t make it into a bio. The better he knows it, the better the conversation on the day.

First Up

02

We book your recording

Once Takis has had that conversation, we’ll be in touch to lock in your recording date at the studio. We’ll work around you to find a day that fits – there’s nothing for you to chase.

After The Call

03

At the studio

You come to our London studio and sit down with Ben for the recording – a proper, unhurried conversation, filmed in 4K across several cameras. The team looks after everything else. All you bring is yourself and your story.

On The Day

Need to move your research call? The reschedule link is in your confirmation email.

Thank you for giving us your time. Agreeing to come on The Obsessed Entrepreneur means trusting us with your story – and that’s not something I take lightly.

Your first conversation is with Takis, our producer. He spent years making television for ITV and Channel 4, and he’s very good at one thing in particular: drawing out the story that actually matters. The research call is simply where he gets to know yours.

Once you’ve had that session, everything Takis has learned comes to me – shaped into a structure I can use to make the recording genuinely good. By the time you sit down in the studio, I’ll already understand where we’re heading. You won’t be explaining yourself from scratch; we’ll go straight to the real conversation.

Honestly – we can’t wait to make it happen.

Ben Jacob-Smith

More from Ben, before the day.

You’re about to sit down with Ben for a proper conversation on camera – so it’s only natural to be connected before then. LinkedIn is also where he shares his thinking day to day, if you’d like more of it in the meantime.
